The Telecommunications and Information Resource Management (TIRM) Graduate Certificate Program (GCP) is located in the School of Communications of the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa College of Social Sciences. The program was originally developed to meet workforce needs through a collaboration between the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa School of Communications and the State of Hawai‘i Department of Budget and Finance, Information and Communication Services Division (ICSD). The TIRM GCP consists of five graduate courses with a focus on telecommunication policy, planning, technology systems, services and management. The latest iteration of TIRM focuses on health information technology and informatics.
