Telecommunications and Social Informatics Program (TASI) / Pacific Health Informatics Data Center (PHIDC)
TASI/PHIDC is a research and services program that conducts interdisciplinary and applied research in Hawai‘i and the Pacific Islands Region.
Some of the current activities of TASI/PHIDC include education, training, and policy and program technical assistance related to Health Information Technology (HIT); public health, healthcare claims and clinical data management and analytics; Electronic Health Record (EHR) system implementation and management and Telehealth; accessible and affordable Information and Communication Technologies (ICT); criminal justice (THIS Initiative); and weather and disaster communications.
